The short version
MegaBrain is in private beta. We collect the minimum data needed to run the product — your email for sign-in, your brand content you upload, and basic usage telemetry. We don't sell your data, we don't train third-party AI on your content, and we don't run ad networks. If anything here is unclear, email hi@themegabrain.com.
Who we are
MegaBrain is a product operated by an individual founder. Service is provided at themegabrain.com. Contact: hi@themegabrain.com.
What we collect
- Account data: email address (for authentication via magic link or Google OAuth) and a workspace identifier.
- Brand content you provide: brand voice docs, examples of your past content, brand identity fields, and connected source URLs (RSS feeds, sites).
- Generated content: drafts produced by the AI on your behalf, your edits, approvals, and schedules.
- Usage telemetry:request paths, response codes, anonymized error traces. We don't track cross-site behavior or assemble a marketing profile.
- Demo requests: if you fill the demo form, we store your email plus UTM parameters from the URL and the referring page.
How we use it
- To run the product: authenticate you, generate drafts, serve your dashboard, send transactional emails (magic links, demo follow-ups).
- To improve the product: aggregate, anonymized metrics (which features get used, which paths error out).
- To contact you: only about your account, the product, or a demo request you initiated. No newsletters or marketing blasts unless you explicitly opt in.
What we never do
- We don't sell your data to anyone.
- We don't train any third-party AI model on your brand content. AI inference happens through APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.) with no-training agreements in place — your content is used only to generate your drafts and is not retained by those providers for training.
- We don't run ad networks or share data with ad networks.
- We don't use trackers beyond what's required to run the product (auth cookies, error monitoring).
Where data lives
Application data is stored in PostgreSQL on Google Cloud (us-central1 region). Static assets are served via Vercel CDN. Email is delivered via Resend. We use Google OAuth for sign-in. All of these vendors handle data under their own privacy commitments — see their pages for details.
We don't replicate your data to other regions or to third-party analytics warehouses.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data and brand content as long as your workspace exists. If you want your workspace and all associated data deleted, email hi@themegabrain.com and we'll delete it within 14 days. Demo request leads are kept until you ask us to remove them or for 24 months if we never made contact.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Ask us to stop processing it (we will, where legally allowed).
- Withdraw consent for any optional processing at any time.
Email hi@themegabrain.com to exercise any of these. We aim to respond within 7 days.
Cookies
We use two types of cookies:
- Authentication cookies: set when you sign in, so you stay signed in. Strictly necessary.
- Locale preference: remembers if you chose EN or RU on the landing.
No third-party tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no fingerprinting.
Children
The service is not intended for users under 16. If you believe we've collected data from a minor, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when material changes happen (new vendor, new data category, change in retention). If you have an account, we'll email you about significant changes before they take effect.
